GENERAL SUMMARY :

Primary function is to act as a resource in interpreting statistics and transactional information and making recommendations to management based on both quantitative and qualitative analysis of data sets.

Utilizes in-depth and technical skill to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or other related degree or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years of experience with data compilation, data analysis reporting

Additional Preferred Education & Experience :

• Experience working in the financial services industry
• Experience with Microsoft VBA, SQL queries and / or data analytics utilizing tools

WORKING CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENT :

This job requires the employee to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Infrequent lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES AND TASKS :

1. Responsible for collection of data using various tools, systems and statistical techniques to provide accurate and reliable information to management.

2. Analyzes and identifies patterns / trends in data and provides summarized interpretations and recommendations to department management.

3. Various statistical reports on operational performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Assists with ad-hoc data requests as needed.

4. Demonstrates fundamental understanding, in data analysis and summaries, of transactional and profile data as it pertains to real world applications.

5. Prioritizes tasks and coordinates efforts within department, Information Technology, Project Management and Compliance to ensure assignments are completed in accordance with department and companywide initiatives.

6. Develops data collection systems and sound strategies for getting quality data from different sources. Learns new analytic practices, methods, models and techniques as appropriate.

7. Provides assistance and instruction to others in the department. Serves as back-up in various positions within the department as needed.

8. Provides assistance to other departments in developing ROI analyses for proposed projects, products, and promotions.

9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary range is $55,011.12 - $72,202.09 / annually. Job Grade, EX 12. Final salary is dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications.
