Overview :
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for planning and managing content across various social media platforms to enhance brand awareness, engage our community, and drive online growth.
This role will use their passion for social media trends and strong communication skills to engage with the Weedmaps community.
The impact you'll make :
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to align with business goals.
- Coordinate, manage, and publish high-quality content (text, images, video) across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
- Monitor social media channels and work with Community Manager to identify trends, comments, and messages to engage with in a timely manner.
- Track and pull performance metrics (engagement, reach, followers) and assist with analytics reports.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with overall marketing plans and campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
- Assist with monitoring competitor activities and report on industry trends.
- Assist with copywriting and captions for various posts across weekly content
What you've accomplished :
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Proficient in social media platforms and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinking with the ability to generate unique content ideas.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.

The base pay range for this position is $61,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
