We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Attorney / Lawyer to join our team in Coral Gables, Florida. You will be working in a corporate law setting, with the flexibility of starting in the office and transitioning to remote work;
for the right candidate can be remote. You will be handling corporate matters, corporate governance, entities, mergers and acquisitions and more.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with the preparation and review of corporate documents.
- Conduct legal research to assist in transactional work.
- Manage corporate governance and maintenance issues.
- Handle corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence as required.
- Provide regulatory research to support corporate legal functions.
- Engage in frequent virtual meetings to discuss ongoing matters and cases.
- Use your skills in document management to organize and maintain client files.
- Provide legal advice on a range of corporate matters.
- Ensure compliance with all local and federal regulations.
- Must possess a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the Florida Bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field
- Proficiency in document management and drafting legal documents
- Experience in corporate governance, corporate legal, and corporate maintenance
- Proven track record in handling corporate transactions
- Expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A)
- Ability to handle transactional matters efficiently
- Strong skills in legal research and regulatory research
- Experience in drafting correspondence and other documents
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of professional ethics and integrity
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to keep up with current legal trends and news
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
