Duties
Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality one-to-one and small group tutoring to students. Follow guidelines and current tutoring philosophy including the pursuit of CRLA certification.
Communicate with staff and coordinator / manager. Conduct small workshops as needed; audit classes as needed. Assist greeter with duties including scheduling and data collection.
Education / Experience Minimum of an Associate’s degree required; Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree.
Teaching or tutoring experience preferred. Specialty in Biology / Anatomy & Physiology needed, some Chemistry preferred.
Qualifications Tutors must be sensitive to the needs of students at all levels. Being able to coordinate efforts with other tutors / staff is a must, along with having an excellent work ethic.
Tutors must be willing to work in-person via college guidelines, and online tutoring skills are expected.
