Every other weekend (Sat / Sun) and holiday required
BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required; NIH preferred
Float to PICU, Peds, and NICU for appropriate assignments. Float units are flexible except RN must to PICU or Peds floor
No block scheduling
Locals accepted
Patient Mix : Birth - 21yrs; High acuity trauma patients
Required Experience : Critical care or ED background; Trauma, IV proficiency (A-Lines / Central Lines / Starting IVs), 12 lead EKG, interpret and manager dysrhythmias, insertion of NG tube, emergency medicine proficiency, applying and managing splints, fractures and casting, overdose, managing violent behavior, hypothermia protocol, triage, respiratory proficiency, shock trauma / burns, and EPIC required
