As an EventDesigner you are a fearless creative professional who continuallystrives to overdeliver client expectations. You have a keen eye for design and a stylish flairwhen creating proposals presenting and / or doing custom site visitsfor clients.

You are a team player withevent planning and creative design experience as well as theability to perform in a diverse environment while making clientsyour number one priority.

You areselfmotivated with an extreme attention to detail in written andoral communication. You are a careermindedindividual who thrives in a fastpaced highenergy work environmentwhere excellence is the norm and who excels in business built onrelationships.

Knowledgeof the local area resources (Props Décor productionlinen entertainment etc.) and local geography hotels and locationsis a plus!

WORKHOURS :

Theposition does not have a specific work hour requirement. Rather theworkload is tremendous unpredictable and seasonal.

During our busyseason January through May we typically work a minimum of 50 hoursa week including some nights andweekends.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS :

• 3 Years of event planning / sales experience / Creative event design
• Creativity selfmotivation attention to detailprecise oral and written communication time managementcollaboration a polished demeanor andresourcefulness.
• Knowledge of area resources (PropsDécor Production Linen Rentals Furniture Entertainmentetc.) and local marketplace hotels and location knowledge is aplus!
• Ability todesign manage and oversee special events ensuring revenueprofitability AND operational success.
• Intermediate to advanced experience withMicrosoft Office applicationsrequired.

RESPONSIBILITIESINCLUDE :

• Design and propose theme event experiences incollaboration with our Sales Team.
• Manage assigned projects from inceptionthrough program operation.
• Partner with Sales to establish and maintainsuccessful customer relationships.
• Develop event timeline and distribute to allparticipants.
• Coordinate and conduct creative siteinspections.
• Researchsupplier availability and manage negotiations to ensure optimalcost advantage throughout programoperation.
• Manage theevent requirements : production staging sound lights A.V.décor entertainment linens centerpiecesetc.
• Oversee onsiteoperations.
• Prepareweekly and monthly financial forecasting of assignedprograms.
• Recommendnew and innovative ways to improve products andservices.
• Assist withstreamlining of processes and efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain positive workingrelationships with employees contractors external vendors andindustry partners.
• Participate in industry affiliations andattend industrymeetings.

COMPENSATION :

Compensationis salary plus progressive commission / bonusstructure.
