Position Overview :
We are seeking a Mathematician specializing in Class II gaming to develop mathematical models for various games and conduct research from a game / math balance perspective.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop mathematical models and resource materials for complex games using Microsoft Excel and Visual Studio (C#).
- Generate Math Documentation and provide data for distinct models.
- Design functional versions of math models using the Client's proprietary C# Math Tool.
- Construct Excel sheets (PARs) for validating math models for regulatory approval.
- Code game-specific elements for Class II contexts.
- Share expertise and mentor colleagues on Class II specifics.
- Develop software tools to support mathematical development and identify process improvements.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers to ensure accuracy in implementations.
- Analyze statistics for existing or new games and present findings to management.
- Ensure mathematical documents are error-free and report discrepancies as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and C# programming.
- Experience in gaming math, particularly Class II gaming, is a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
