In this position
The PVT Engineer works as a part of the Variability Reduction team which is comprised of members from various Skill Teams at Ford.
The work is fast-paced and involves absorbing information from numerous sources, both internal and external to the company, drilling down and assessing the information in an effort to reduce variability at the component and system levels.
The work is challenging and requires hours of sustained application while operating within the cadence of an Assembly Plant.

You'll have
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of engineering experience.
- Experience in engineering problem solving as well as root cause identification and analysis, developing containment actions and permanent corrective actions
- Experience with generating documentation to track progress and advance Quality outcomes. . 8Ds, BSAQ projects.
Even better, you may have
- Electrical Systems Experience
- Six-Sigma Training (Black Belt or Green Belt Certification)
- Ability in work in a fast-paced environment to support quick decision making
- Familiarity with CAD systems
- 3+ yrs. Automotive Experience
