A to Z Machine is a large-scale, full-service machine shop located in Appleton, Wisconsin. We proudly build long-term partnerships and industry-specific manufactured goods with ultimate precision and efficiency.
Our sprawling facility includes three buildings : one dedicated to production machining, another for welding and fabrication, and the largest building houses our job shop machining operations.

The Senior Customer Manger is a senior member of the Customer Management team and acts as a key technical resource for A to Z customers and the Customer Management team.
This position plays a key role in interpreting customer requirements for new and existing customers. Develops manufacturing / machining plans that meet customer specifications while also meeting A to Z profitability goals.
This position is also a resource in developing and refining ERP and other key systems used within the operations of the Customer Management team.
As a senior resource this position mentors and supports the development of Customer Management team members and acts as a liaison to other departments when solving technical issues.
Requirements for this Senior Customer Manager job
To excel in this role, you'll need a solid background in the custom job shop machining industry, with a minimum of seven years quoting and estimating experience along with a minimum of three years experience in customer and project management or manufacturing engineering.
The ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and identify key project variables is a must. Your customer-focused approach, technical mindset, and problem-solving abilities will drive successful account management and customer onboarding, supporting business growth.
Proficiency in ERP or other manufacturing software tools will be an asset. Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and professionalism are key to building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
