WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING :
- Order Verification : Accurately verify customer orders against pick tickets, ensuring product type and quantity are correct.
- Packaging and Staging : Package orders per customer instructions and stage them appropriately following branch operating procedures.
- Documentation : Document any discrepancies and communicate effectively with the appropriate personnel to resolve issues and correct orders.
- Material Handling : Move materials, load, and unload trucks, ensuring products are staged for loading or delivery according to procedures.
- Forklift Operation : Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to manage warehouse inventory.
- Safety and Compliance : Maintain a safe, clean, and accessible warehouse environment, adhering to safety regulations and ensuring all equipment is handled properly.
OUR MUST HAVES :
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 0-1 year of experience in a warehouse environment; forklift certification preferred (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to physically handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance.
- Good communication skills, with proficiency in English required for reading, writing, and speaking.
- Familiarity with using computers and basic office equipment.
