What you'll do :
The Sr. Credit Analyst will be responsible for spreading, managing and maintaining financial background information on present and prospective Resort Finance customers, and assist with underwriting analysis for the Division.
This position’s primary functions will include managing spreading assignments, performing financial analyses, and maintaining related records and files.
The Credit Analyst will work closely with Division management to improve operational processes, mitigate identified risk concerns, increase efficiencies, and enhance the functionality and ease of use.
This position is also expected to promote business growth by delivering excellent customer service to internal and external clients, and to be responsible for the preparation of a variety of departmental reports as assigned.
What we are looking for :
- Perform special financial statement analyses involving Resort Finance relationships.
- Render assistance to lending officers on credit matters.
- Assist in the underwriting and presentation of new and existing credit facilities.
- Assist the Division by compiling data in various ad hoc, monthly and quarterly reports.
- Perform industry analysis and provide recommendations.
- Inform the Division of relevant trends of specific loans or portfolios.
- Provide credit information and references for customers, loan officers, or others as requested.
- Interface with clients in-person, over the phone and via email in order to ensure all credit and financial data is on file.
- Reinforce superior customer service with appropriate follow-through with customers and employees.
- Handle various other portfolio management and operational tasks and responsibilities related to new and existing loans.
- Perform other duties, and participate in special projects, as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA / BS) from a four (4) year college or university required.
- 2+ years of credit analyst experience in a commercial banking setting.
- A sense of pride, a spirit of determination, and a drive to continually evolve within the role and organization.
- Ability to spread financial statements and tax returns and complete cash flow forecasting.
- Proficient Excel skills.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills for a variety of tasks or projects.
- Ability to deal with difficult problems involving multiple facets, variables in non-standardized situations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work with minimal or no supervision while performing duties.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
