Our client is seeking a highly skilled and "Hands On" Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic team. In this role, you will lead and coordinate multiple projects.
Your primary focus will be on leading and managing a team of highly ambitious, extremely skilled engineers and project managers, cultivating a supportive, innovative development culture, executing effective strategies, and ensuring timely project completion.
Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Coordinate multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and meet high-quality standards.
Develop and implement efficient processes and effective strategies to drive engineering excellence.
Collaborate closely with various IT and business teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Research and develop innovative products that enhance our commercial lending capabilities.
Oversee the recruitment and career development of engineers and contributors.
Maintain a strong foundation in software design and development of customer-oriented platforms.
Skills and Qualifications :
2+ years in leading engineering teams while making direct coding contributions
4+ years in a software engineering individual contributor role using some combination of React, Typescript, and Python.
Solid foundation in software architecture and experience developing resilient and scalable web platforms.
Strong analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.
Excellent communication skills for overseeing staff and collaborating with other management personnel.
Experience with the full application development lifecycle, taking a product from concept through development and deployment into maintenance and support.
