Maintenance and Facilities Manager Responsibilities :
- Ensure the property is safe and ready for guests daily, addressing any issues promptly.
- Handle maintenance emergencies with clear communication and urgency.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of servant leadership.
- Manage administrative tasks efficiently and on time.
- Conduct financial reviews and assist in developing annual operating plans.
- Manage capital projects within budget and on schedule.
- Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of staff.
- Develop and implement OSHA-compliant training programs.
- Create preventative maintenance plans for equipment and vehicles.
Maintenance and Facilities Manager Qualifications :
- Proficiency in water, sewer, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of building codes and underground utilities.
- Strong economic analysis skills related to maintenance functions.
- Familiarity with building envelope maintenance and mechanical attractions.
- Ability to stay updated on industry regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and CMMS maintenance software.
- Willingness to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Trade school or Associate's degree is a plus.
- 5 years of maintenance experience and management experience.
- Experience in hospitality or theme park industry preferred.
- Relevant certifications and memberships are advantageous.
