Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Research Scientist (Immunology) for our Safety Assessment division located at Multiple US and Canadian Sites.

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in the field of immunology / immunotoxicology whose experience has been gained through a combination of academic and laboratory research settings.

In addition, the candidate will be an expert in most of the commonly used laboratory immunological techniques such as flow cytometry, FACS, and immunophenotyping.

The ideal candidate will also have experience working with cell-based assays and cell culture work Experience with report writing, data interpretation, and project management.

The following are minimum requirements related to the Research Scientist I (Immunology) position.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S. / B.A.) or equivalent in a scientific related discipline. Related Master's degree (M.S. / M.A.) or PhD / DVM preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience in the contract research, academic, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements of study types assigned, as well as Testing Facility SOPs and the Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), as appropriate.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in the use of standard software including Microsoft® Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc. and with standard laboratory calculations.
