Experience :
24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Emergency Department experience is required.
Travel experience is required.
Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements :
Candidates must have a California license in hand at the time of application.
This role will require floating to multiple locations
Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

Additional Details :
Shifts : 5a-530p / 7a-730p / 9a-930p / 10a-1030p / 11a-1130p will work ALL of these shifts as needed by hospital 36hrs per week (not self scheduling;
will be scheduled by manager, weekends typically every other, no call requirements)
Will work Walnut Creek. If Concord gets busy the traveler may be asked to float occasionally to Concord. The two campuses are 8 miles apart.
Float requirements : will float as needed depending on patient care but only within scope of skill
Ratios on the unit : 1 : 4 depends on patient acuity and census, ratios are mandated by state of CA
Patient Population (Diagnoses) : Annual visits are approximately 62000+ with an average daily census of 190-200 patients.
Our ED represents a culturally diverse population with a range of high acuity physical and mental health conditions.
Patient experience and nursing excellence is a MAJOR focus.
Prefer experience with CVP, SVO2 and arterial lines.
