ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
Spearhead the design and documentation of complex technical specifications for new or enhanced financial operations automation processes.
Ensure all designs adhere to organizational goals and comply with internal IT protocols.
Oversee the entire lifecycle of automation process implementation, from initial concept through configuration, testing, and deployment.
Manage timelines and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure successful rollouts.
- Continually support, evaluate, and optimize existing financial operations automation processes. This includes conducting complex troubleshooting, applying necessary updates, and enhancing performance to meet evolving business demands.
- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights, identify trends, and forecast potential impacts on process functionality and business outcomes.
Present findings to senior leadership to guide strategic decisions.
- Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct educational sessions tailored to users at various organizational levels, ensuring smooth adoption and proficient use of new systems and processes.
- Maintain detailed records for all processes, including creating and updating user manuals, technical specifications, and process diagrams to ensure clarity and accessibility.
- Ensure all processes meet the highest standards of security and compliance. Regularly collaborate with the IT department and external auditors to uphold and enhance integration and interoperability standards, adapting to new regulations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and business process automation. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Advanced skills in ERP systems, process automation tools, and data analytics platforms. Ability to design and implement complex systems tailored to organizational needs.
- Strong capability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and utilize findings to enhance process efficiency and accuracy.
Proficient in statistical analysis and financial forecasting.
- Excellent leadership abilities to guide teams and projects towards successful outcomes. Clear, concise, and persuasive communication skills, suitable for educating non-technical audiences and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Innovative problem-solving skills that combine creative thinking with a structured approach to systematically address complex challenges.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and regulatory environments. Resilience in managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing complex projects in financial operations and process automation.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURES, AND LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Certified Public Accountant and / or Certified Automation Professional beneficial but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
The Senior Accounting Business Process Analyst must be able to sit for extended periods while working at a computer, as the role involves substantial use of financial software and databases.
Frequent computer screen use for prolonged periods is expected, requiring a high level of concentration and attention to detail.
Occasional lifting of materials weighing 25 pounds may be necessary, particularly when handling financial documents, reports, or IT equipment for automation setups.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
This role primarily operates in a professional office setting, with well-equipped ergonomic workstations supporting long working hours.
Given the senior nature of the role, there is the potential for flexible work arrangements, including occasional remote work, particularly when engaging in deep analysis or project planning phases.
Regular interaction with financial and IT departments is essential, promoting a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary work environment.
This collaboration is crucial for aligning financial automation processes with business objectives and IT standards. The position may occasionally require travel to different company sites or departments as part of project implementation, coordination, or training sessions.
