We’re seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager with strong leadership and managerial skills, who is able to motivate and lead our team of warehouse personnel in our Arizona locations.
This is a multi-faceted role that includes managing all aspects of our Arizona region warehouse activities. You will report to the Operations Manager and also work directly with other departments and branch managers.
You will be responsible for developing and managing a team of warehouse, delivery, shop and administrative specialists in our growing local branch.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
- Interview, hire and ensure proper training for teams
- Monitor and assist with all aspects of warehouse operations
- Performing quarterly cycle counts
- Set accuracy and productivity expectations among your team
- Travel to Tucson and Flagstaff periodically to review operations in those areas
- Attend periodic operations meetings
- Ensure your team receives any ongoing training or required for their respective roles
- Resolve customer issues related to warehouse tasks
This position is full time. Starting salary is between $60,000-$65,000 and includes a bonus opportunity.
The ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communications skills; can work independently and within a larger team;
possesses a strong sense of urgency and time management. Is a good problem solver and is very comfortable working on a computer, as well as in a warehouse environment.
- Three years of warehouse management experience
- Reliable, adaptable & detail oriented
- Able to apply concepts to practical situations
- Strong problem solving skills
- Prior warehouse & data entry experience
- Prior forklift experience, or able and willing to learn
- Prior office equipment industry experience would be a bonus
- Clean driving record, No DUI or reckless driving infractions in the past 5 years and ability to operate company vehicles
