Assisting in the implementation of the design and construction processes of the Dept of Veterans Affairs campuses in the Salt Lake area.
Facilities including but not limited to commercial building construction, office and shop buildings, utility installation, and patient care facilities.
Work to be performed on site as part of a team with construction / project managers, as well as other designers.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture OR NCIDQ certified and if either qualifying under 1) or 2) must have minimum 5 years of commercial design experience.
The Designer shall have sufficient analytical skills and knowledge of construction contracting to be able to properly work with construction contractors to provide the best guidance and support for the projects at hand.
