Compensation :

In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Role Summary :

The primary purpose of this position is to provide continuous mentorship, guidance and training to less experienced technicians, ensuring the successful execution of the maintenance program while leading continuous improvement initiatives, and managing emergency situations in accordance with local, state and federal laws.

Reporting directly to Facilities Manager, the senior technician collaborates with manager to complete comprehensive maintenance tasks, Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs and construction projects which may include third party vendors.

• Perform advanced maintenance and repair work on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, HVAC systems, and other maintenance tasks while adhering to safety standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to Maintenance Technician II staff and other junior technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices in maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
• Efficiently manage and complete work orders on WorxHub ticket system, ensuring high-quality standards are met and tasks are prioritized appropriately.
• Assist in creating Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) protocols and ensured they are followed by entire department.
• Collaborate with external contractors and vendors to obtain quotes and oversee contracted projects, ensuring they are completed in a safe, precise and timely manner.
• Maintaining the fire, carbon monoxide, smoke, and other safety systems within the structure
• Conduct daily safety inspections of fleet vehicles, building systems and equipment, and participate in routine inspections and maintenance of the entire campus.
• Reviews and audits third party vendors by implementing and reviewing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in moving furniture, boxes, and other items as necessary, and ensure maintenance supplies are replenished and properly stored in work areas.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry for maintenance expenses, record-keeping, asset management tracking and maintaining confidentiality of client information.
• Evaluate the quality of maintenance work performed and lead initiatives to streamline maintenance processes and implement best practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ability to travel locally to satellite WFS locations and attend off-site meetings, conferences and other job-related events.
