Job Details
The Technical Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting and accounting practices.
This position involves interpreting complex accounting standards, implementing new accounting policies, and providing technical guidance to various departments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Accounting Expertise :
Interpret and apply complex accounting standards, including GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant frameworks.
Analyze and assess the impact of new accounting standards and regulations on the company’s financial statements.
Financial Reporting :
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical support in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports.
Policy Implementation :
Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
Ensure consistent application of accounting principles across the organization.
Audit and Compliance :
Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Address and resolve audit findings and recommendations related to technical accounting issues.
Advisory and Training :
Provide technical guidance and training to finance and accounting staff on accounting standards and procedures.
Serve as a point of contact for technical accounting inquiries from various departments.
Continuous Improvement :
Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting practices and financial reporting.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in technical accounting.
