JOB SUMMARY
The Family recovery Center provides residential and outpatient treatment services to recovering women and women with children.
The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the facility and for delivering and overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the facility, facility grounds, and landscaping.

- Overall maintenance, repair, construction, and upkeep of the facility and grounds under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Performs day-to-day maintenance. Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in supervising resident work crews in performing assigned maintenance activities.
- Develops and maintains adequate control and inventory of tools and supplies including a check-in / out system.

- Comply with all MHS and program rules, policies and procedures including HIPAA standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Degree or Equivalent, required. (Waiver may be possible for individuals working toward there GED or equivalency)
- Minimum of two years of experience in construction, general facility maintenance, and repair, required
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and up to 75 pounds
- Per program contact requirements, must satisfactorily complete a Tuberculosis test prior to hire and once annually thereafter.
- CPR / First Aid certification, required.
- Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team
- Ability to problem solve and react appropriately to emergency situations
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, timely respond to management, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
