Role Description
ONLY SEEKING APPLICANTS WHO LIVE IN NORTH AMERICA
This is a contract role for a Speaker Booking Agent for Educational Venues at Keller Media, Inc. What that means is you can set your own hours (within reason) and will be responsible for your own taxes.
You will get a 1099-MISC at the end of each year. This hybrid role allows for flexibility to work partially remotely. We would like to see you in person in California for a few hours every 2-4 weeks.
The Speaker Booking Agent will be responsible for calling educational venues (from our list), pitching our fabulous speakers, negotiating terms (within a fixed range), arranging details, ordering the contracts to be sent, making sure they get signed, and ensuring payments are received.
You will be primarily responsible for the education and parenting venues. We book our speakers on a lot of podcasts, which is good leverage when pitching them into the education and parenting markets.
