Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a similar role may be beneficial but not always required
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to reach for specific objects at short distances in local working areas
• On occasion may be required to lift and carry heavy objects, push or pull heavy objects; kneel, bend or stoop, and ascend or descend ladders or stairs
• Capable of working in a fast paced environment and in stressful situations
• Must respond to multiple task interruptions and still provide service to internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner

Benefits :

$45,000 - $50,000 per year

Responsibilities :

• We are looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our team and help prepare delicious meals for our customers
• In this role, you will work under the guidance of our Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare high-quality dishes that meet the restaurant's standards
• You will be responsible for setting up your station, preparing ingredients, and cooking dishes according to the menu specifications
• Your role is crucial in ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly during service hours by providing the necessary ingredients for the kitchen staff
• Prepare Ingredients : Wash, peel, chop, dice, and slice various ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses
• Measure Ingredients : Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in food quality and cost control
• Organize and Stock Ingredients : Keep track of inventory and ensure that all necessary ingredients are available and ready for use
• Assist in Cooking : Support the kitchen team by cooking basic components of dishes, such as boiling pasta, grilling chicken, or sautéing vegetables
• Maintain a Clean Workspace : Keep work areas clean, sanitized, and organized, following food safety guidelines
• Follow Food Safety Guidelines : Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures to ensure food is prepared and stored safely
• Collaborate with Kitchen Staff : Work closely with chefs, line cooks, and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations and timely food preparation
• Assist in Receiving Deliveries : Help unload and store food deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality
