AMXPROGRAMMER

Our client islooking for a Control SystemProgrammer who is very strong in AMX as part of its programming team to writecode and commission complex audio video systems.

He / She would beresponsible for planning developing testing and implementingcontrol system code audio files and other equipmentrelatedconfigurations.

In addition he / she would also perform inhousetesting and onsite commissioning at client locations locally andnationally.

Demonstrating the ability to successfully handlemultiple tasks and projects the Programming Engineer will be ableto think independently within the specified guideline andeffectively interact with employees andclients.

JobResponsibilities :

• Developsystems integration programs for Crestron AMX and Biampsystems
• Design and develop customgraphical user interface (GUI) on control system touchpanels
• Coordinate the creation andintegration of A / V control systemprograms
• Troubleshoot and debug A / Vsystems
• Peer review code from fellowprogrammers to ensure accuracy andefficiency
• Maintain software projectdocumentation in companydatabase
• Professionally representour clients showing empathy patience andcompetence
• Maintain a positiveprofessional attitude strong work ethic and embrace a teamcentricenvironment
• Complete trainingprograms and gain certifications for manufacturers industryassociations and company asrequired
• Assist in otherresponsibilities asassigned

Requirements

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Programming or equivalentexperience
• Minimum of 5 years ofCrestron or AMX control system programmingexperience
• Familiarity with GUIdesign and graphics applications isrequired
• Experience with controlsystems videoconferencing switching hardware audio DSP setup andcalibration.
• Minimum of three yearsof onsite commissioning experience isrequired
• Crestron CTIP301Completed / Passed
• Simpl proficiencyis required
• Knowledge of networkingfundamentals such as TCP / IP addressing firewalls routers andVPN.
• Familiarity with Cisco Lifesizeand Polycom video conferencecodes
• Strong written and verbalcommunication skills
• Exceptionalproject planning and problem solvingskills
• Strong attention todetail
• Ability to prioritize andhandle multiple tasks as well as changingpriorities
• Possess the ability towork in a teamoriented environment as well asindependently
• Willingness to travelonsite both locally and nationally isrequired
• Crestron and AMXcertifications are preferred
• CTS orCTSD certification ispreferred

Job Requirements : Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience withQCS controls, Biamp, Audio DSP, Shure and Intelix. Great to have : AVPro Edge and Visionary Solutions for VoIP / switchers Advancedknowledge and hands-on experience with AV equipment Advancedknowledge of TCP / IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls arepreferred.

Advanced working knowledge of computers (Windows-based)and software. Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, andembrace a team-centric environment.

Ability to read, analyze, andinterpret complex documents including product specifications,wiring diagrams, and architectural drawings.

Ability to respondeffectively to sensitive customer inquiries or complaints. Stronginterpersonal and communication skills are required.

Valid driver slicense with minimum 3-year clean driving record. Infocomm CTScertification (within 6 months of employment start) & CTS-Iwithin 12 months Maintain and / or acquire OSHA 10 Hr constructionwithin 3 months from employment start.
