The basics of this position :

The Department of Arts and Communications at St. Louis Community College, Florissant Valley is seeking a highly qualified candidate to teach foundations drawing classes.

The successful candidate will teach Drawing I, with possible opportunities to teach Drawing II and figure drawing courses.

The candidate must have a Master of Fine Arts degree in a studio art discipline, strong observational drawing skills and a minimum of two years of experience teaching at the college level.

Applicants with community college teaching experience will be given special consideration.

What you'll do :

The successful candidate will teach Drawing I, with possible opportunities to teach Drawing II and figure drawing courses.

Education, experience, and other requirements :

The candidate must have a Master of Fine Arts degree in a studio art discipline, a minimum of two years of teaching drawing at the college level, and an excellent portfolio of personal work.

Preferred Qualifications :

Candidates with community college teaching experience will be given special consideration.
