Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Estimated annual base pay : $76,640 (minimum) - $95,800 (midpoint) - $112,960 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Continuous Improvement Specialist I, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
Under the direction of and reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, the Continuous Improvement Specialist will teach New Member, Greenbelt, Champions, and Woodward's general Membership on the principles of BTO Lean Six Sigma.
The CI Specialist will support a One Woodward approach to BTO Lean Six Sigma.
What You Will Be Doing
Work with members of the organization to identify and implement process improvements using Six Sigma, Lean and Kaizen methodologies.
Facilitate workshops, projects, and project reviews for Woodward members.
Track and report project results to leadership team as appropriate.
Interface cross-functionally with internal members and / or external clients.
Perform data analysis and utilize data-driven decision making to drive change across the business.
10% of travel time may be required (domestically) to support other business unit's process improvement activities and may include travel to customers and suppliers.
What We Are Looking For
US - associate's degree required.
1-2 years Exposure to manufacturing and quality business processes (transactional or operational) required.
Previous structured process improvement experience with demonstrated track record of results required.
1 year - Experience with performing data analysis using software such as Microsoft Excel, Minitab, etc. and presenting executive summaries to stakeholders.
ASQ Certification, CQIA, CQT, CQA, CQE or related preferred.
Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification required preferred.
Six Sigma Black Belt Training, successful completion within 1 year preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean and Kaizen methodologies.
Ability to effectively speak before groups.
Demonstrated ability to navigate SAP, and to perform data analysis using software such Microsoft Excel, MiniTab, or similar.
Ability to lead a cross-functional group to develop a solution, implement the solution, and sustain the improvement.
Technical competency in SAP project management techniques and structured RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) methodologies.
