The Saint Louis University Department of Radiology is seeking a full-time tenure track Nuclear Medicine Physician-Scientist with excellent clinical skills and the ability to engage in translational molecular imaging at our new hospital.
The ideal candidate will have interest and experience in leading research projects and clinical trials, regulatory proficiency as well as a track record of publications.
The Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging provides state-of-the-art clinical services and research in a vibrant and growing academic and clinical environment including Theranostics and has been designated as one of the few Comprehensive Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Centers of Excellence by the SNMMI.
The state-of-the-art facility includes a digital PET / CT scanner, 2 SPECT / CT scanners and 1 SPECT scanner. The successful candidate will have experience in general nuclear medicine, oncologic PET, cardiac imaging (SPECT and PET), Theranostics, research, and an interest in teaching at a setting with single and dual certification programs in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology.
Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Theranostics and will be expected to be the PI on various clinical trials.
