We are hiring for a Spa Esthetician. This is an hourly on-call position and will report to the Spa Director.
About Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley
Situated at the northern end of Napa Valley off the famed Silverado Trail, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley will offer experiences will capture the imagination of even the most seasoned wine country visitors.
The Position / Role
Estheticians must possess exceptional skills in providing facials and waxing services to our guests, while delivering the highest level of service and professionalism.
Estheticians must also ensure customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons Standards and policies.
Responsibilities
Set-up and maintain Spa including refreshments in pre-treatment and treatment areas.
Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests whenever possible;
resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with Spa services.
Assist guests to their appointments as they relate to Spa services.
Ensure an adequate supply of all guest supplies and amenities within the treatment room and lounges and ensure immaculate presentation of these items.
Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked with linen and supplies at all times and that back bar products are consistently kept clean, closed, and organized.
Maintain clean work areas in Spa Dispensary and Staff Room.
Appropriately utilize reservation systems, maintenance records, and Guest Experience database as vehicles of communication to ensure guest satisfaction with all services provided.
Adhere to the facial sequence of service when performing skincare treatments.
Provide hair removal services in line with waxing treatments.
The ability to prepare, operate and properly sanitize all equipment in the treatment rooms and Spa areas.
Ensure compliance of daily and opening / closing checklists by walking and ensuring all areas of Spa are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high-quality presentation and repair of all equipment.
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Assist in reception area answering product and treatment questions as well as assisting with booking recommendations as needed by guests.
Retrieve linens from laundry and assist with locker room set up; return used linen to laundry.
Assist in keeping locker and Spa relaxation areas neat and organized.
Assist other staff with set-up and breakdown of treatment areas.
Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Spa and Fitness when needed.
Who you are
High School education or equivalent experience.
Esthetician license is current as per California law.
CPR, First Aid Certified preferred.
At least three years experience in Luxury hospitality environment.
Knowledge of Napa Valley and surrounding areas highly desirable, however not required.
Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening / overnight shifts.
Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
Outgoing personality and at ease with customers.
This position is not eligible for work sponsorship / visa. Candidates must possess valid US work authorization.
