Who We Are Looking For :

We are looking for detail-oriented Receiving Clerk for our Earth City location. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

What you would be doing :

• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Unload and load trailer shipments.
• Engages in MRP receiving functions and computer entry tasks.
• Lifts heavy items and may operate forklift / reach trucks.
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
• Prepare HAZMAT shipments according to shipping standards and regulations.
• Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
• Preform daily cycle counting when needed.
• Preform Return Material Authorizations as needed.
• Prepare, package, and ship all UK and Poland shipments weekly.
• Prepare, package, and ship all Ocean shipments when needed.

What you should bring :

• Has the basic understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
• Basic computer skills.
• Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
• Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
• HAZMAT certification a plus but if doesn’t have then will be trained and certified on the job.
• Forklift / Reach truck operation experience a plus, but not required.

Work Environment

Moderate to frequent exposure to shop environment; may be exposed to dust, odors, oils, fumes, chemicals, noise and moving parts.

Work typically requires the usage of PPE and can require work on the facility’s production floor or customer’s production environment.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl and move about facility and / or customer’s facilities.

Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
