Environmental Services Technician (Healthcare)

Job Title : Environmental Services Technician (Healthcare) Location : Newport Beach, CA & Irvine, CA Type of Position : Contract Environment : 5 days onsite, with weekend availability and overtime as needed About the Job : We are seeking an experienced Environmental Services Technician with a background in hospital or medical facility cleaning.

This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors, ensuring all areas meet healthcare sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities : Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Dust and sanitize surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen areas to maintain hygiene. Empty trash bins and properly dispose of waste following recycling and safety guidelines.

Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure all equipment is in good working order. Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment. What We’re Looking For : Required : Proven experience in janitorial and cleaning services within a hospital or medical facility.

Familiarity with operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, extractors, bovac, and roto machines. Physical stamina for tasks that involve lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed. Preferred : Basic computer skills, including email and online training course completion.
