An established, growing and profitable company is looking to add a General Manager / Managing Director to their team near Eureka, IL.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
- Ensure employees are motivated and productive
- Oversee day-to-day operations and make adjustments as necessary
- Present operational strategy recommendations to the President / Owner
- Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
- Manage budgets, develop and implement budgets plans for the department and company
- Build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders
- Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and followed at all times
- Assess overall company performance against objectives
- Represent the company in events, conferences etc.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing related, required.
- Minimum of 5-7+ years proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role, required
- Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision, required
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles, required
- Industrial Manufacturing environment experience, required
- Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
