Position Summary :

We're seeking dedicated Delivery Service Representatives (DSRs) to handle multi-stop deliveries and pickups for both corporate and residential clients within our service markets.

As a DSR, you'll play a vital role in loading and unloading furniture-type items onto various-sized vehicles, ensuring timely and professional delivery, setup, and breakdown at different venues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Drive various-sized vehicles, including Sprinters and 26 box trucks (non-CDL), to complete deliveries and pickups.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring on-time deliveries and pickups while collaborating with our team to handle events seamlessly.
• Coordinate closely with our sales and warehouse teams to ensure accurate handling of equipment and fulfillment of orders.
• Conduct quality control inspections to maintain our high company standards.
• Operate moving equipment such as carts, dollies, and pallet jacks as needed.
• Follow routes established by Transportation Specialists to meet company and client expectations.
• Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) procedures.
• Uphold and embody the company's Core Values : Consistency, Adaptability, Reliability, and Teamwork (CART).
• Perform additional duties as required.

Work Conditions :

• Be prepared to work indoors and outdoors in various locations and weather conditions.
• Prioritize safety when operating potentially hazardous equipment, with appropriate safety measures in place.
• Expect physical demands including bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.

Schedule & Pay :

• The average earning for this position in 2023 was $76,000.
• Monday Friday and weekends as needed.
• Availability for 2-3 weekends per month is required.
• Flexibility required for varying start / end times, ranging from early mornings to late evenings.
• Potential for overtime during peak seasons.

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid drivers license with a good driving record (less than 4 points in the last 3 years). CDL is not required.
• Proficiency in the English language (both written and verbal) is required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Maintain professionalism when representing our company at various event venues.
• Experience with tow motors and pallet jacks preferred but not required.
• Strong basic math skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Capacity to meet the physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting; Regularly and repeatedly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move more than 100 pounds.
• Willingness to undergo cross-training and work in other departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Successful completion of company background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.
• Bonus contingent on company new hire bonus policy.
