Job Description
Purpose of the Job :
As Senior Inside Sales & Contracts Specialist, you are responsible for preparation of timely quotes for customers and accurate entry of orders into the system including updates where required.
This role functions as the primary point of contact for customers in obtaining Quote and order status, milestone tracking and any other required updates from time of quote receipt through order acknowledgement and until final shipment.
Inside Sales
Review customer requests for quotation (RFQ), including technical and commercial specifications. Identify cost effective best suited engineered product for the application.
Size and select appropriate Rotork products and communicate this information to customers using established format.
Produce accurate and detailed technical quotes with supporting documentation and drawings for standard and customised solutions proposal to meet customer requested bid date.
Clarify any deviations, assumptions or exceptions to customer project specifications and state recommendations.
Interface with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Management) to review projects and develop a plan of action prior to quotation and after receipt of order.
Ensure customers’ requirements are completely and adequately transferred to Contracts.
Contact point for specific products / applications.
Partner with the Outside Sales to build customer relationships
Discuss solutions with customers to drive orders
Contracts
Responsible for order entry and contractual activities from order receipt through shipment.
Maintain applicable project plans and reports in support of both internal stakeholders, as well as the customer.
Liaison between all departments (sales, engineering, quality, production) within Rotork factories to ensure the fulfilment of customer requirements.
First point of contact for customer escalations, changes to scope, and requests to expedite delivery.
Provide technical phone support and serve as a resource for our customers, representatives, distributors, Business Development and Area Sales Managers to help promote Rotork.
To organise the working day so that priorities are addressed, customer expectations are met and internal delays reduced
To seek and implement improvements within the department and the wider company where appropriate
Update all systems for accurate output forecasting and reporting
