a division of ProMach, is looking for a new Materials Manager to spearhead our continued success. Pace is a leading provider of automated bottle unscramblers, bottle orientors, and conveyor cleaning systems.

Pace has provided packaging solutions across a variety of industries including beverage, food, household chemicals, personal care products, and pharmaceutical for over 40 years

  • Streamlining procurement, planning, inventory, and shipping operations to perfection.
  • Organizing our stockroom and point-of-use locations with precision for seamless accessibility.
  • Prioritizing and scheduling customer orders with the efficiency of lean principles.
  • Implementing performance metrics for continual enhancement, covering inventory, delivery performance, cycle time, warranty, margins, and schedule adherence.
  • Identifying and onboarding top-notch suppliers, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Crafting and executing inventory control strategies to optimize production, meeting customer demands.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy through robust cycle count processes, eliminating stock-out scenarios.
  • Collaborating with our engineering team to uphold bill of materials accuracy.
  • Serving as a go-to technical resource for resolving inquiries and scheduling hiccups.
  • Strategizing ideal shipping methods, routes, and carriers, balancing parameters, specifications, and costs.
  • Nurturing departmental expertise through comprehensive training initiatives.
  • Overseeing departmental personnel, driving short-term objectives and long-term goals with finesse.
  • Contributing actively to lean transformation endeavors, ensuring continuous improvement.

  • 3-5 years of Materials Management experience in a manufacturing setup.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, preferably in Supply Chain Management OR equivalent work experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing training would be a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, including stellar presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel) and ERP systems, with a knack for spreadsheet wizardry. Experience with Infor / Syteline is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership acumen with a track record of budget oversight and P&L management.
  • Analytical prowess to drive fact-based problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to decipher and apply insights from diverse information sources.
