Job Description : We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and benefits administration.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in payroll operations, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in handling payroll and benefits for medium to large-sized organizations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for employees accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Handle payroll inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain payroll records and reports.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll deductions.
- Assist in payroll audits and other compliance activities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software (., ADP, Paychex) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS systems (., Workday, SAP).
Pay : $30 / hr-$32 / hr depending on experience
Location : Fully REMOTE but must reside in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia
