Program Supervisor

Imua Family Services is looking for a Program Supervisor to become a part of our team. This position will provide oversight of the care coordination and therapeutic team and management for families of children 0-8 with developmental delays.

Summary : This position provides administrative support for smooth and efficient functioning which includes support and assistance in the administration of services to children receiving services from Imua Family Services under the direction of the program / clinical director.

The program manager is responsible for ensuring that the highest standard of education and clinical care is delivered and that all targets and objectives are met in line with agency, health care, local, state and national standards.

The program manager provides leadership to a team consisting of direct service and support staff through mentoring, coaching and supervision.

In addition, the program manager is responsible for daily operations, management, coordination of direct services, program planning, oversight and on-going development of services operated by Imua Family Services.

This position provides support in compiling data necessary to create accurate reports and billing to the Department of Health Early Intervention Section, Medicare, private and federal medical insurance, and various funding sources.

The program manager will work with the program / clinical director in supervision and clinical support to other program professionals in accordance with the policies and procedures and must demonstrate the following :

a) A commitment to empowering others to solve their own problems.

b) The ability to establish a respectful relationship with persons served to help them gain skills and confidence.

c) The ability to maintain a helping role and to intervene appropriately to meet service outcomes and to set appropriate limits.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education and / or Experience

A. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the individual's specific discipline filed (e.g., Education, Occupational Therapy,

Physical Therapy, Special Education, Speech-Language Pathology, Social Work) or related field, from an accredited

College / University.

B. Experience with birth to age eight population is preferred.

Full Time Salary Exempt position commensurate with experience and degree. Salary starting at $56,000 / annually.

This position is responsible for the provision of family-centered culturally competent care coordination and social work services for children and their families, birth to age eight with typical development and developmental delays.

This position provides interim and on-going care coordination services to families receiving services from Imua Family Services.

The individual compiles information and the data necessary for programming and for accurate reports and billing to the Department of Health, Medicare medical insurance, and various funding sources.

Essential duties and responsibilities also include providing information to other professionals and the community as well as conducting other clerical work and administrative duties as required.
