Maintenance Technician - Production Machining
Position Overview : We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Maintenance Technician specializing in production machining.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of machining equipment.
The role requires a strong understanding of CNC machinery, precision tools, and a proactive approach to maintaining a smooth production process.
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 7a - 3 : 30p.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other production equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Collaborate with production teams to understand equipment performance requirements and address maintenance-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Implement and adhere to safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety among all team members.
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for the procurement of spare parts and specialized maintenance services.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices in machining technology and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a professional production machining environment.
- In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery, precision tools, and production processes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime.
