Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location Key Responsibilities : Design, Configure and Implement HL7 Interfaces : Develop, test, and deploy HL7 interface solutions to facilitate data exchange between electronic health records (EHRs), laboratory systems, and other healthcare applications.
System Integration : Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and design solutions that meet business and technical needs.
Ensure seamless connectivity and data flow between systems. Troubleshooting and Support : Monitor and troubleshoot HL7 interfaces to resolve issues, ensure data accuracy, and maintain high system performance.
Provide technical support to end-users and address any integration-related concerns. Documentation and Compliance : Create and maintain detailed documentation of interface designs, configurations, and processes.
Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards, regulations, and security policies. Continuous Improvement : Stay current with HL7 standards, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
Propose and implement enhancements to improve integration efficiency and effectiveness. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and project managers to ensure successful integration projects and timely delivery of solutions.
Required to work on multiple projects, lasting a few weeks to an unlimited duration.Key Requirements and Technology Experience : Skills-HL7, Cloverleaf, Linux, or Windows, Cerner / Epic / Meditech.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.
g., HL7 certification) are a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HL7 integration. Cloverleaf Level1 Certification required.
Proficiency in HL7 messaging, interface development, and integration tools. Familiarity with SQL, XML, and scripting languages (e.
g., JavaScript, Python) is advantageous. Skilled in Windows and Linux operation systems Experience with vendor integration to Cerner / Epic / Meditech.
Strong understanding of healthcare data standards, interoperability frameworks, and EHR systems. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data privacy practices is essential.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to analyze complex systems and provide effective solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively within a team.
