Duties :
- Conduct comprehensive global and domestic trademark clearance searches.
- Handle trademark prosecution, counseling, and enforcement matters.
- Represent clients in oppositions and cancellation actions before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
- Manage UDRP proceedings and provide expertise in anticounterfeiting strategies.
- Navigate U.S. Customs protocol related to trademark issues.
- Collaborate with team members to address client needs effectively.
Requirements :
- 2-5 years of relevant trademark experience.
- Previous experience in a large law firm setting is preferred.
- Strong academic credentials with a focus on intellectual property law.
- Excellent writing skills with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality legal documents.
- Proven ability to manage a docket with multiple deadlines.
Education :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar in California.
Certifications :
Certification in trademark law is a plus.
Skills :
- Proficient in global and domestic trademark clearance procedures.
- Strong understanding of trademark prosecution and enforcement strategies.
- Knowledge of U.S. Customs protocol related to intellectual property.
