Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our payroll team in a rapidly growing company.
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for assisting with the payroll process in an accurate and timely manner. Providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities Process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls accurately and on time using payroll software, UKG Pro for 2,000 plus employees.
Verify employee time records, deductions, and adjustments. Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required by management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws and tax requirements. Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files. Assist with payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed. Stay up-to-date on changes and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience utilizing automated payroll systems; UKG Pro experience is required.
Experience with Workforce Management previously called Kronos Dimensions. Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency with payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
