Aspire Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Management of Information Technology department is requesting to hire a new applicant for the position Information Technology Technician.
This position requires training and experience leading to competencies needed to independently provide technical support to computer users in an assigned office area.
This includes but is not limited to Electronics Troubleshooting, Analyzing Information , Judgment, Client Relationships, Equipment Maintenance, Reporting Skills, Confidentiality, Quality Focus, Results Driven, Supply Management.
Informing Others. comprehensive knowledge of both personal computer (PC) and Locall / Vireless Area Networks (W / LAN),and Sever administration;
hardware and software management; CCTV installation and configuration, Management of Virtual Private Networks; Network Performance Tuning.
LAN Knowledge, Problem Solving, Strategic Planning, Multi-tasking, Quality Focus, Coordination, Technical Understanding, Quick Study, Technical Zeal, possession and application of skills in oral communication, and decision making;
highly developed competencies in customer service and interpersonal skills. This also includes the ability to install and provide support for PC and LAN hardware and software : and possession of a strong desire to lean and be flexible with regard to new technology and methodology
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES :
a. Resolve all issues related to Desktop Management
b. Manage Active Directory, Electronic Medical Record, and Organizations Agency-wide Applications Users
c. Performs information control reviews to include system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery, and system maintenance.
d. Maintains and develops computerized audit software.
e. Prepares and presents written and oral reports and other technical information in a pertinent, concise, and accurate manner for distribution to management.
f. Troubleshooting a variety of computer issues
g. Offering technical support on-site or via phone or email
h. Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests
I. Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation;
performing acceptance tests.
j. Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies;
performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
k. Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
l. Provide training to staff on all resources necessary to complete day to day task
m. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
GENERAL NATURE OF WORK : Under general supervision Installs, configures, and supports a local area network, wide area network, internet system, computers, desktops and / or mobile devices.
Performs necessary maintenance to support network availability.
QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of related experience OR Associate degree in a related field and three years of related experience OR Five years of related experience OR One year at the lower level or position equivalent (ITP040).

X) Pre-employment drug testing and random alcohol / drug testing required for appointment to position.
