SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
The primary responsibility for the Technical Sales (Inside Sales or Customer Service Rep) is to provide timely and professional customer service to Dakota Fluid Power customers, while also supporting DFP Sales through effective communication and excellent organization and time management skills.
JOB DUTIES :
Respond to customer phone call and email inquiries quickly and accurately in a positive manner
Create a friendly and inviting working environment
Serve as back-up for front counter staff during high-traffic times of the day
Assist CSR support with order entry or vendor questions
Responsible for assisting front counter staff with higher-level technical questions or customer inquiries
Maintain clean organized showroom and replenish stock product as needed
Generate quotes, enter orders, contact vendors, respond to customer requests, update records and track orders as necessary through the ERP system
Support Outside Sales and respond in a timely manner with price, availability, product specifications, order status and other information as required
Multitask on multiple projects at once
Achieve productivity and sales goals
Assist with mentoring and training new hires in the same department
Attend product training and seminars if available
Work Saturdays as part of a rotation schedule
Work closing shift until 6pm one scheduled night each week
Work with others to create a positive team environment
Other duties assigned by Management
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :
Exceptional customer service, extremely self-motivated, strong communication skills, problem solving, listening and phone skills, computer proficiency, multitasking, basic understanding of hydraulics, works well under pressure, goal oriented and dedication to excellence.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000 per year DOE
