KPMG is currently seeking a Specialist Director to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead complex enterprise environments from a cyber security perspective across the U.S. Federal government space
  • Regularly interface and lead discussions with high-level client executives and hands-on technology practitioners to bring meaningful, strategic change in the sphere of information protection, data security and privacy, and business continuity
  • Lead the design and development of policies and procedures for clients, drawing from regulations and guidance such as FISMA and the supporting NIST Special Publication series
  • Lead and support an integration of cyber security into systems development efforts through a DevSecOps approach
  • Lead the support for architecture, configuration, deployment and service design of network and system security monitoring and analysis tools, such as Cloud, Identify and Access Management (IAM) platforms and IT-GRC platforms
  • Lead project management efforts for cyber security technology and process assessments / implementations, including security architecture, cloud security, DevSecOps, risk assessment, incident response, Risk Management Framework (RMF), penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, vendor and third-party risk management, data privacy and information governance and program delivery
  • Lead the process of identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of eight years of experience in Information Security; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university
  • Extensive knowledge base in cyber security operations, cloud security, and / or security architecture
  • Strong client services orientation and demonstrated executive business development track record
  • Functional certification such as AWS, Azure, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Google, MCSE, IAM platforms, IT-GRC preferred; CISSP, CCSP, CAP, CEH, CPT, CISM, CISA, CIPP, GIAC, GSEC, and / or GCFW certifications preferred
  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
  • Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance
