Medical Assistant Full-Time / Dermatology Tampa, FL

The Dermatology department is seeking a full- time Medical Assistant for their office in Northdale (3820 Northdale Boulevard).

Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 : 50 AM - 5 : 00 PM. The role is responsible for assisting providers and manages clinical functions in the department.

Candidates with experience in a medical office highly preferred, especially in Dermatology. but willing to train if we get the right person for our team.

THE KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE :

• Love of patients and providing excellent care
• Confidential handling of patient's accounts and records
• Entering data into Electronic Health Records
• Preparing patients for examination and / or procedures
• Adherence to company policies
• HIPAA and OSHA Compliance

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

• 1 year experience as an MA desired
• Dermatology experience is a plus
• High school graduate or GED certificate
• Excellent communication skills including verbal / written, in person and on the phone
• Able to give injections
• Ability to travel to other FMC locations as business needs necessitate
