Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop machines, tooling, and work-cells to enable advanced cell stack manufacturing methods.
  • Work collaboratively with the Corporate Technology group to scale up Nel’s ability to meet our production demands.
  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of factory layout, cell layouts and equipment design & procurement.
  • Support the Automation Team on current and future projects, such as the implementation of Autonomous Mobile Robot material transporters.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 7 years of professional experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
  • Hands on implementation of projects.
  • Prior technical experience working automation / robotics for both mechanical assembly, coating & lamination processes and testing environment.
  • Creo CAD software or equivalent experience.
  • AutoCAD software or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in PEM technologies or related field a plus.
  • Familiarity with Internet of Things, Digital Twining, Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
