IT Quality Tester - On Call

Overview

The IT Quality Tester - On Call role at Fontainebleau Las Vegas plays a vital role in supporting the quality assurance efforts of Fontainebleau's digital products and services. This position focuses on executing manual test cases, validating application functionality, and assisting in identifying and documenting software defects. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of software testing principles or willingness to learn, a keen eye for detail, and experience with computer and mobile technology and applications.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications, and related systems
• Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
• Identify, document, and track software defects using test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Browserstack, Monday, etc.)
• Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data
• Participate in functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Support validation of system performance and usability
• Provide feedback on application functionality, user experience, and potential improvements
• Learn and apply basic testing tools and techniques
• Attend team meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and project updates

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
