Minimum qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$284,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

• Define product differentiating features for all aspects of the Dataproc UI living in the Google Cloud Console.
• Partner with and directly integrate with various other Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products in the data analytics space.
• Guide GCP experience of Spark, Flink, Hadoop, Presto, and more running on GCP.
• Build high-impact customer-facing features which make Cloud Dataproc the best place to run Hadoop and Spark in the cloud.
• Make Cloud Dataproc the best product for data science and engineering workloads.
