Overnight Veterinary Technician

As an ER / CC technician, you will focus on inpatient and outpatient care alongside our large team of Board-Certified Critical Care Specialists.

About the Role :

• As an ER / CC Technician, you will play a crucial role in partnering with our ER Doctors and Criticalists, providing top-notch customer experiences, and delivering outstanding patient care.
• Your day-to-day tasks will involve :
• Triaging incoming patients and managing clients throughout their visit
• Partner with DVM’s in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
• Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
• Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment
• No need to fret over emergency surgical cases, we have on-call boarded surgeons and on-call technicians for the overnights!

Schedule :

• Typically three 12-hour shifts, but we are flexible pending your needs
• 7p 7a
• Rotating Weekends

Compensation :

• $21 - $30 pending skills assessment leveling
• Even higher for VTS!

About You :

• You are a confident, skilled, and experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care .

• You must have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to) :
• Venipuncture
• Placing IV Catheters
• Drug Calculations
• Administration of Medications (IV or other methods)
• Taking Vitals
• Gathering Medical History
