Major Job Responsibilities / Duties
- Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits
- Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators
- Inspect materials and sort items or materials into piles or places in bins or barrels according to type, size, condition, coloring marking or other characteristics
- Load and unload items from machines, conveyors and conveyances
- Clean and lubricate equipment
- Sweeps and shovels residual waste from process
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or related experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to work outside under extreme temperature conditions. (Heat, cold, snow etc.) The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
