Day to day as a Housing Agent

As a Full-Time Housing Agent at EDEN Inc, your daily expectations will involve engaging with clients to assess their housing needs and guiding them through available options.

You'll conduct property searches, schedule viewings, and facilitate application processes while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Collaboration with local landlords, community organizations, and other housing resources will be essential to ensure a smooth transition for clients.

Your schedule will typically run Monday through Friday , allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

You can expect to manage your time effectively, with a focus on client-centered tasks throughout the day. Problem-solving and innovative thinking will be key as you address any challenges that arise in securing housing for those in need.

Your role will also involve documenting interactions and updating client records to maintain thorough case files.

To thrive as a Full-Time Housing Agent at EDEN Inc, a solid foundation in business marketing or a related field is essential, typically demonstrated by a Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

Alternatively, a combination of education and experience that showcases your ability to perform the essential duties is acceptable.

Strong interpersonal skills are crucial, as you will engage with diverse clients and community stakeholders. Proficiency in software tools for case management and document processing will aid in the efficiency of your work.

A valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less, along with reliable transportation and proof of insurance, is required to facilitate client meetings and property viewings.

Additionally, possessing problem-solving capabilities and an empathetic approach will enhance your effectiveness in supporting clients through their housing journeys.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business marketing or a related field with related experience or equivalent combination of education and / or experience required.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in place of the above requirements
  • The incumbent may possess a combination of relevant education and experience that would demonstrate the individual's knowledge skill and ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less and proof of insurance and reliable transportation.
